Central Audio-Visual Equipment, Inc. (CAV) was founded in 1958 as a Bell & Howell distributor for hospitals and corporations and has been in operation under its present ownership since 1993.  CAV, Inc. has an extensive background in:

  • Providing audio-visual equipment
  • Designing audio-visual layouts
  • Installation of audio-visual equipment
  • Managing audio-visual projects
  • Training on use of audio-visual equipment

In CAV Inc.'s experience includes brands such as:  Optoma, InFocus, Promethean, Duracell, Safari Montage, Eveready, Toshiba, Canon, 3M, Polaroid, Bretford, Luxor, Califone, Da-Lite, HP and many others. 

 

While CAV, Inc. has worked with numerous corporations and hospitals, CAV has had an extensive work history with the Board of Education of the City of Chicago that dates back to 2000.  The unique opportunity to work with numerous departments, facilities, and schools operating under the Board of Education of the City of Chicago has allowed CAV to gain a tremendous wealth of experience working with a large government agency.  From designing and installing a Television Broadcast studio in Kelly High School and installing and maintaining the Safari Montage Media Management Systems to supplying AAA batteries, CAV has been able to help customers at many different levels.
